Adam Wiles BPod, BHealthSc – Director


Member: International society of biomechanics, Footwear biomechanics group, Member Sports Medicine Australia.


Adam Wiles completed his Bachelor of Podiatry at the University of South Australia in 2004 following a Bachelor of Health Sciences, Adelaide University in 2000. He has represented his state in both Australian Rules Football and Cricket, leading to a keen interest in Sports Podiatry.


Adam  gained extensive experience working in Hobart and then at Podiatry First in Sydney. During his time in Sydney, Adam worked with a prominent local athletics club treating a range of athletes from weekend warriors through to semi professional athletes.


In 2007, Adam returned to Adelaide to set up Podiatry First Sports, which opened in November 2007. He has also spent extensive time working on the Joggers World floor giving him a second to none understanding of current athletic footwear.

Tom Baker Bpod – Director


Tom graduated from his Podiatry degree at Uni of SA in 2001. In 2003 he started Podiatry First in Sydney with Georgina Jamieson which they built to 3 practices over the next 11 years. In 2007 he started Podiatry First Sports with Adam Wiles. Tom and his family moved back to Adelaide in July 2013 to help Adam expand Podiatry First Sports.


Tom is a former state champion sprinter, winning a state 100m open championship at the age of 20. He also won numerous national medals as a junior in both the 100m and 200m as well as running a world junior qualifying time in the 400m.


Tom has over 15 years of experience treating runners and Athletes.


Tom is now a keen mountain biker, skier and swimmer.

Narelle Hodgson BArts

Narelle joined us in 2009 as a part time receptionist. Narelle’s interest in footwear began when she started working at Bailetti Sports in 1998. During her time at Bailetti’s she gained considerable experience as the footwear buyer whilst also employed as the Store Manager for several years. Her background in playing many varied sports, including Basketball, Netball & Tennis, and her keen interest in sporting footwear & the biomechanics of the foot has made the transition into Podiatry First Sports an easy one. Narelle is married to Paul with 3 young daughters.


Dani Anson

Dani is one of our 2 practice receptionists and has been part of the Podiatry First Sports team since mid 2010. Dani has always worked in customer service and administration positions and enjoys meeting and talking to people. Dani enjoys team sports and regularly plays mixed and women’s netball. She has a Bachelor of Cultural Tourism and is married with 2 young children.

Sarah Ormandy


Sarah started working for Podiatry First Sports in 2015 and is studying a Bachelor of Business (Human Recourse  Management) at UniSA starting in 2016.  Sarah has always had a passion for sport, having played netball since Under 8’s, along with school sports such as basketball and volleyball. She also been an employee of Joggers World since 2014, keeping updated on the latest footwear.
